## Corrections Case WorkerApplylocations: Kansas City, MOtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 3 Days Agojob requisition id: JR101490It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.***Department:** Corrections**Grade:** 190**Salary:** $31.45/hour**Job Duties:*** Responsible for interviewing inmates daily; collecting, verifying, coordinating, and recording inmate information manually and in the current inmate information computer system.* Enters inmate data into the Objective Jail Classification System that identifies inmates' custody level and then assigns appropriate housing; determines the program needs of the inmate and makes appropriate referrals to education, substance abuse, mental health and other treatment programs.* Coordinates treatment interventions for the inmate between the various divisions such as education, mental health, medical. probation and parole, and other involved parties.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, administration of justice, or any of the behavioral sciences with a minimum of 2 years of work in secure corrections or related field is required. Or four years of experience in a correctional institution.* Associate's degree in behavioral sciences, or a related field with 3 years of work experience in corrections or related field may be considered.* Four years of work experience in a secure correctional institution in lieu of a bachelor's degree may be considered.* Must be at least 21 years of age.* Must participate in and complete the detention academy training.* Must submit to and pass a police background check, drug screen and physical examination.*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!*#J-18808-Ljbffr
