Summary
This position is designed to provide excellent customer service to the customers of the City's Water Utility Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Processes payments from customers in person, mail, dropbox, online and by phone. Cash handling daily for payment processing.
Scans data and compiles records and reports.
Gives information to customers and employees.
Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, policies, and billing statements.
Operates computer terminal to input and retrieve data.
Operates office machines such as computer, copier, fax, adding, and calculating machines.
Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail.
Greets and assists visitors.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of recent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
