Position Description
Assists in managing a complex area/department and has oversight responsibilities. Responsible for the development, coordination and administration of the department.

Major/Essential Functions

• Works proactively with and under the direction of the Managing Director and management teams across TTUHSC to determine business requirements, and define application solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Serve as a leader and subject matter expert for database design, web design, and systems resource management.
• Serves as leader and subject matter expert for database design, web design, and systems resource management.
• Assists with the following phases of systems implementation: evaluation, specification, design and deployment.
• Perform complex data analysis, querying, and troubleshooting.
• Supervise employees effectively and ensure they have a great environment to work and grow professionally.
• Builds cross-functional relationships with internal customers across the institution.
• Utilizes proactive, clear and professional communication
• Works proactively with and under the direction of various leaders within Business Affairs' departments providing significant support and guidance with various systems implementations.
• Provides back-up management of hardware, software, and security infrastructure (Dev Ops).
• Documents and updates processes and procedures to align with Application Development operations.
• Participates in training and professional development related to application development, business operations, finance and leadership.
• Recommends, develops and implements process improvements.
• Performs other duties and completes other projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus six years of progressively responsible management experience OR a combination of education and/or years of progressively responsible management experience to equal a minimum of 10 years.
