This recruitment aims to fill a Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) position with an anticipated end date of up to two (2) years . I f the position is filled by a King County employee who has successfully completed their initial probation, they will be offered the role as a Special Duty Assignment.

About the Role:
This position is within WTD’s Finance and Administration (F&A) Section, which serves the essential role of ensuring that financial resources are in place to fund the Division’s priorities and decision-making is well-informed regarding financial risk, optimization trade-offs, financial equity, and compliance. In managing WTD’s large portfolio of financial activities and processes, F&A performs numerous functions including rate-setting, budget development and oversight, capital finance, contracting, technology services, central service administration, accounting, audit and compliance, payroll, utility billing, and more. About the Team:
The Budget and Contracts unit within the Finance section is responsible for development, coordination, and oversight of a $224 million annual operating budget (2025) and a $984 million six-year CIP, a procurement & contracts team responsible to ensure effective, efficient, and timely support to agency procurement and contract administration, and a capital finance team responsible for ensuring WTD maximizes opportunities to match projects to funding opportunities.
