Job DescriptionEMS Instructor II - Clinical Coordinator $6,250.00 per month 1 Full-Time PositionCollege Station, Texas The Role at a GlanceThe Clinical/EMS Instructor II is primarily responsible for delivering high‑quality initial and continuing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) education using adult learning principles, evidence‑based instructional strategies, and established curriculum standards. This position provides didactic, psychomotor, and affective instruction and evaluation for EMS learners while supporting program compliance with accreditation, credentialing, and regulatory requirements. In addition to instructional responsibilities, this role performs limited clinical and field support functions in accordance with CoAEMSP standards, including assisting with student clinical scheduling oversight, monitoring clinical documentation and compliance, maintaining relationships with clinical affiliation sites, and support of clinical and field experiences.
This position reports to the EMS Training Director.
Qualifications of the Role - Associate's degree in EMS or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Five years of paramedic field experience.
- Two years of EMS education, precepting, field training, or instructional experience.
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Current NREMT Paramedic or Texas DSHS Paramedic certification.
Equivalency: Will consider a Bachelor’s degree and three years of paramedic field experience or a high school diploma/GED and seven years of paramedic field experience. Must also have two years of EMS education, precepting, field training, or instructional experience and all required licenses/certifications.
