Summary

The Construction Management Unit in the WTD is seeking a Wastewater Construction Management V - Project Representative to administer a variety of construction contracts including, work order, design-bid-build (low bid/lump sum), general contractor/construction manager, and design build type contracts with ($10k-$100M+). This is an opportunity to do challenging work on a variety of construction projects that help to protect our environment.

About the Role:

In this role, you will manage diverse construction contracts and oversee all facets of construction project execution. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead major infrastructure improvements that directly contribute to public health and environmental protection. You'll work in a collaborative setting, applying your expertise while gaining exposure to diverse teams and technical systems-all while making a meaningful difference in our community. This is a great opportunity to work on challenging construction projects as the direct liaison between the County and the Contractors, leading Construction Management teams.
This position follows a hybrid work model, blending remote and in-person work.
About the Team:

WTD protects public health and enhances the environment by collecting and treating wastewater while recycling valuable resources for the Puget Sound region. Population growth in the region and changing regulatory requirements coupled with aging infrastructure are resulting in an expansion of our capital construction programs. Over the next ten years, WTD will deliver several billion dollars’ worth of projects through a variety of contracting methods.
