Job Summary Performs responsible, skilled, and first-line supervisory field work involving the construction, maintenance, and repair of City of Orlando facilities and equipment. Work is performed under the supervision of the Assistant Division Chief and requires considerable trade knowledge in the area of assignment. Performance is reviewed through conferences, inspections of work, and performance of systems. An employee assigned to this classification must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lbs).
Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning (A/C), Carpentry, or related field and
four (4) or more years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair in the electrical trade discipline, some of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
Salary:
USD 25.21 - 32.15 per hour
