(This is an at-will position)

Salary Range: $157,128.47 - $219,980.69

The Project Controls Division is on a thrilling mission to supercharge Port projects with cutting-edge scheduling, precise estimating, and dynamic cost management. We dive deep into data analysis, craft comprehensive reports, and develop top-notch project management systems to ensure every project is delivered on time and within budget. Thanks to our success and the revenue from our bustling cargo operations, the Port boasts one of the nation's largest capital programs. For Fiscal Year 2024 alone, we expended a staggering $200 million, with projections soaring beyond $2 billion over the next decade. THE ROLE

Under the supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Project Controls, the Project Controls Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Project Control functions for the Port's engineering projects. This includes overseeing the implementation and maintenance of tools such as Primavera P6, Unifier, and EZ FAMIS, ensuring accurate tracking of project schedules, costs, and resources across a variety of capital projects. The position plays a key role in supporting Project & Program Managers, Project Estimators, and other team members by providing technical assistance and strategic guidance in the development and execution of project controls processes. Additionally, the Project Controls Manager acts as a critical point of contact for internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of project data, compliance with Port policies, and the successful delivery of projects. Participation in project planning meetings, reviewing financial reports, and troubleshooting system issues are also an essential part of the role.
