The Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder’s office is the face of public service for our diverse and vibrant county. The Records & Licensing Supervisor is responsible for administering the daily operations of the Clerk & Recorder Records & Licensing Division, a diverse team with specialized expertise . This includes assisting, advising, and updating team members with areas of the division’s responsibilities, scheduling daily coverage and rotation of employee shifts, and working with the director to maintain a welcoming and efficient public-facing office. The Records & Licensing Supervisor is part of the leadership team reviewing statistical analysis of operations, developing training, communicating with vendors and title companies, and updating the director with complex problems and non-routine situations as they arise.

Ideal Candidate:

This position is well suited to an individual looking to use their Expertise in personnel management and customer service to support the community alongside a diverse team of dedicated public service professionals. The candidate must also have the proven ability to move between diverse tasks with ease and must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with constantly evolving priorities. The candidate will assist with the development and maintenance of training materials and manuals and will be responsible for training staff. Spanish language skills and/or experience working with individuals from various cultures and communities is highly valued.

SCHEDULE:

This position operates on our four-day work week (Monday-Thursday) . This position is scheduled in-office, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.

COMPENSATION:

Hiring Range: $34.50-$40 USD Hourly

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience: Three years

Education: H igh School Diploma or GED

Register with Secretary of State’s Office as Deputy with signing authority within 6 months of date of hire.

*Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
