This is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about animal welfare and public safety. While this role includes various non-sworn law enforcement support duties, we place a strong emphasis on animal control responsibilities. You’ll be patrolling the community, responding to animal-related calls, enforcing local regulations, and ensuring the safety and humane treatment of domestic and wild animals. Prior experience in animal control, veterinary services, rescue organizations, or a related field is a plus. Possession of or ability to obtain a valid 832 certificate (without firearms) is required within 6 months of hire.
Beyond animal control, this role offers diverse experiences such as vehicle abatement, parking enforcement, and traffic control.
