Position DescriptionPerforms coordinative work in the business or administrative operation of a specific department or college. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department as well as the monitoring operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise staff or student assistants.
Major/Essential Functions- Assist faculty and staff with instruction in data entry into Faculty Success.
- Assist faculty and staff with all processes that require reporting from Faculty Success.
- Prepare and distribute communication and documentation for the Mid-Cycle Review Process utilizing Workflow Manager.
- Assist with processing new SOM faculty and proper creation and filing of faculty folders.
- Maintaining & Updating databases for all paid and non-salary faculty, including initial entries and updates.
- Generate reports as necessary from Faculty Success and the SOM Faculty Affairs database.
- Utilize Qualtrics for various faculty surveys.
- Prepare and complete the SOM Faculty and Dean's Committee nominations process.
- Maintaining the AAMC Faculty Roster (FAMOUS).
- Maintain annual property inventory process.
- Assist with various other daily, monthly or annual operations.
- Ensure attention to detail as per the policies and procedures of the office, school and institution.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years.
