Multipurpose Water Resources Fund Coordinator

This position will be located at the Lewis & Clark State Office Building in Jefferson City, Missouri.
OPTIONAL : Help communities across Missouri improve their drinking water sources and infrastructure and be for resilient to flooding through the Multipurpose Water Resources Fund and Flood Resiliency Fund.
• Support the daily operation of the Multipurpose Fund and Flood Resiliency Fund by reviewing applications and processing requests for reimbursement
• Work with communities to develop their applications for membership in the Funds and applications for specific projects
• Develop administrative rules, forms, and procedures to shape the strategic direction of the Funds
To be successful in this position, a candidate will need the following skills:
• Highly developed organizational, communication, and document management skills
• An ability to work with communities to understand their needs and develop their projects
• An understanding of the basics of drinking water sources, and treatment and transmission facilities
• Experience with basic accounting and financial practices
Successful applicants will have experience in one or more of the following:
• Drinking water infrastructure
• Accounting or financial assistance
• Rulemaking
Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs is preferred.

Salary:
$50,000-$62,000 per Year
