Job Summary

Under the general guidance of the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, with lead work direction provided by the Executive Associate, the Office Coordinator will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office environment of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA). In addition, this position has the primary responsibility of assisting the vice president and staff in the Administration and Divisional Operations (ADO) unit, ensuring continuous, timely, and efficient office and operational support. In doing so, the incumbent carries out established operational procedures, evaluating work priorities for assignments to student support staff, and in resolving problems. It is critical that the incumbent always maintain a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality.

This position is part of the ADO unit that provides exceptional administrative and operational support for Student Affairs, enhancing the educational mission of Cal Poly. We foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes service excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $46,376 - $56,624 Per Year

Classification Range: $46,368 - $72,864 Per Year
