Description
Full-time position available with the Parks and Recreation Division, Community Services Division located at Gregg Klice Community Center, 1600 John "Buck" O'Neil Way
Salary Range: $16.12-$24.58/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Provides front-desk coverage by managing a multiline phone system, greeting guests as they enter the facility, managing incoming/outgoing mail and shipments, and maintaining an organized, clean office environment.
- Handles membership and rental applications.
- Possesses outstanding verbal/written communication skills.
- Assists with set-up and breakdown of rentals.
- Processes timekeeping and payroll.
- Reviews and verifies of time recorded.
- Enters time in PeopleSoft Human Resources.
- Ensures payable time is entered for all Community Services Division staff.
- Runs audit reports daily.
- Enters requisitions for supplies ordered or services requested.
- Processes refunds for patrons enrolled in various Parks and Recreation activities or for canceled reservations.
- Handles confidential information occasionally.
- Creates spreadsheets, files, and Word documents.
- Organizes meetings, interviews, and appointments, and occasionally takes notes at required meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRES high school graduation OR at least 16 years of age.
May be required to possess a valid state-issued driver's license in accordance with City of KCMO policies. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen as prescribed by the City.
