A Water Modeling Engineer job is available with the City of Fort Worth Water Department. This position will report to the Engineering Manager within the W/WW Planning and Horizontal Asset Management section. The Planning and Horizontal Asset Management section primarily supports growth related initiatives, including development review. The primary tool used by the section to determine capacity is a water and sewer model (InfoWater). If you enjoy development activities, asset management, and possess the abilities to work effectively with others to arrive at mutually acceptable water and wastewater solutions while meeting timelines, then this would be a perfect position for you.

Working Conditions:

Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, repetitive motions, climbing and balancing.

Physical Demands:

Light Work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work.
