What you’ll do: This position is responsible for maintaining and reconciling consumer and program accounts between the two internal accounting systems. You will log and balance incoming funds, withdrawal funds for consumer and program expenditures, resolve any discrepancies, balance accounts daily and prepare bank deposits. Monitor phone calls from consumers regarding their account balances and will be the backup for the other position within the department, will fill in as needed, as well as maintain the filing and scanning. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:In addition to the minimum qualifications listed below a successful candidate should have the basic knowledge of research methods related to financial transactions and the ability to identify and resolve transactional issues. Team member should demonstrate excellent communication, planning, organization skills and the ability to problem solve.
Minimum Qualifications: - Must have satisfactory performance, no written reprimands within the past 6 months, and no other disciplinary actions during the past 12 months.
- Adheres to the safety and security policies for the hospital.
- Embraces the mission, vision, and values of the hospital and shows respect daily.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in banking, balancing accounts, accounts payable, or similar experiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed)
