The JobThe
Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector's office is recruiting for
SAP Technical Analysts II to oversee hardware and software installation/upgrades and provide on-going support of the County-wide enterprise SAP system. Essential duties include managing and using SAP Solution Manager for transport of new objects to Test and Production; researching end-user problems and providing solutions; determining hardware and resource requirements for local database and information systems administration, maintenance, and support; and performing the more complex SAP system module configurations.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT 1) Background: Applicant must successfully pass a background check prior to appointment.
2) License: Travel throughout the County may be required, and employees will be required to make provisions for such transportation.

Minimum Requirements CANDIDATES MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTION REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE OPTION I Must possess three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience
(within the last 5 years) in an IT environment in any of the following: business systems analysis, systems administration, systems engineering, software engineering, database administration, operating systems, network administration, information technology project management or a similar field in an enterprise environment
AND one (1) year providing SAP system support and/or working with at the enterprise level.
EXPERIENCE OPTION 2 Must possess two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience
(within the last 5 years) in an IT environment in any of the following: business systems analysis, systems administration, systems engineering, software engineering, database administration, operating systems, network administration, information technology project management or a similar field in an enterprise environment
AND two (2) years providing SAP system support and/or working with at the enterprise level.
- AND- EDUCATION Must possess 30 semester (45 qtr) units in information technology or closely related field.
(Transcripts MUST be attached if you do not possess a completed/awarded Associate degree (or higher) in related field.) IMPORTANT NOTES: All work experience must be clearly detailed and demonstrated on the application AND supplemental questionnaire to ensure qualifications are properly considered ( resumes are not reviewed ). EDUCATION Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied with an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.

Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:- A Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
- SAP experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot all aspects of an Enterprise environment including complex and interrelated systems, databases, and WAN
- Excellent customer service skills
