Experience & Qualification Guidelines: Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is acceptable. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:

Experience: 5 year of similar experience required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Additional specialized training in basic electronics, electricity or a related field required. (Experience may be substituted for specialized training).

Licenses and Certificates: Possession of valid Class B CDL (with air brakes) required, or acquisition of said license within 6 months of employment required. Required certification in IMSA Work Zone, Roadway Lighting Level II. Completion of Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Electrical Academy I & II or equivalent course.

Supervised by: Streetlight Supervisor.

Supervises: Functional supervision of junior staff.
