An Administrative Services Manager job is available with the City of Fort Worth Municipal Court Administrative Division. The successful candidate will report to the Municipal Court Services Director and will provide direct supervision and coordination of the fiscal and administrative functions of the Municipal Court Services Department.
Minimum Qualifications: - Master’s Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- A minimum of two years of increasingly responsible and complex administrative, fiscal, personnel and management experience.
- A minimum of one year of experience working in a supervisory capacity.
Preferred Qualifications: - Direct experience building and managing a department budget.
- Direct experience managing the procurement process and contract management.
- Experience working with financial management systems.
- Ability to perform complex financial analysis and forecasting for expenditures and revenues.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to constantly shift priorities.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite application skills.
- Management of human resource administrative duties.
The Administrative Services Manager job responsibilities include - Prepare and manage all fiscal matters including budget, purchasing and contract management, auditing, revenue accounting, and financial management.
- Supervises, manages and coordinates all Human Resources functions for the department
- Provide leadership to staff members which include developing goals/deadlines, training initiatives and business process improvement.
- Handle confidential matters and manage time sensitive documentation/reports..
- Oversee building operations, maintenance and use.
- Coordinate assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies.
- Provide highly responsive and complex administrative support to the department’s Executive Team.
Working Conditions and
Physical Demand Sedentary Work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions.
Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.
