This essential role will be the welcoming presence for RV guests, ensuring they receive top-tier service and support during their stay. Responsibilities include assisting visitors with check-ins and inquiries, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records for RV reservations and services. Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to mid-point depending on candidate's experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $26.02/hour Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience - A High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
- One year of customer service experience with the public to include clerical work experience.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.
Licensing, Certifications, and Other Requirements - Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 39 months prior to the start date. The Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles requires that out-of-state driver's licenses must be surrendered within 10 days of relocating to the State of Arizona.
- Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
Other pertinent licenses and/or certifications may be required of some positions depending on division/department/service assignment.
Essential Functions Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following:
- Assists customers in person and on the telephone with questions and provides a variety of information.
- Answers multiple telephone lines and directs inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
- Collects, counts and reconciles cash, checks and credit cards.
- Computes customer bills and makes billing adjustments and provides bills to customers.
- Monitors billing and payment information.
- Prepares routine correspondence to customers concerning their accounts.
- Operates specialized software and information system, such as ActiveNet.com.
Work Environment/Physical Demands - Most work is performed in a City office or within WestWorld's grounds.
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds with assistance.
- Visual and muscular dexterity to enter data or information into a terminal, personal computer, or other keyboard device.
- Requires continuous and repetitive arm, hand and eye movement to operate an adding machine.
- Sit, stand, or move for extended periods of time.
- Work in extreme inclement weather for long periods of time, depending on assignment.
- Operate a variety of standard office equipment including: computer, telephone, calculator, copy and fax machine requiring continuous and repetitive arm, hand and eye movement.
- Bend and stoop occasionally to maintain files and filing systems.
- Operate a golf cart around pedestrians and animals.
- Have exposure to dust, grease, noise, and unpleasant odors.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions including inclement weather and extreme heat.
- May work varied schedules, including overtime, according to events, including weekends, holidays and some evenings.
