Description

The South Adams County Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD), dedicated to providing reliable, affordable and sustainable water resources and services to its customers in the Commerce City population, and is presently the largest combined Water and Sanitation District in the state of Colorado covering over 65 square miles and serving nearly 75,000 customers, is seeking to fill our Public Affairs Coordinator position.

This position provides administrative and analytical support community and outreach programs, as well as assisting in developing and disseminating District public relations information.

This position will:

·Oversee digital and print promotional and communication including brochures, reports, press releases, news media, educational and informational materials.

·Coordinate and participate in community outreach events.

·Oversees and coordinates the development and publishing of the annual distribution of Consumer Confidence Reports.

·Oversees, maintains and updates the Districts website. Maintains, updates, posts content and monitors the social media sites of the District.

Qualified candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, public affairs, environmental science or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 4 years administrative, marketing, public relations, graphics or related experience.Technical writing experience preferred.Graphics software and design experience preferred.Valid, current Colorado Driver’s License required.

Proficient computer skills including knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills required.Self starter, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment necessary.Must be detail oriented.

Successful candidate will be required to complete a background check and drug screen prior to employment.

Hiring Range: $76,949 - 96,000 annualized
