Applicants who meet the education and experience requirements and are within six months of obtaining the required certifications will be allowed to continue in the competitive recruitment process; and if successful, will be placed on the eligible list. However, an applicant shall not be referred for the department hiring interview until completion and receipt of the qualifying certifications. It will be applicant’s responsibility to notify the Human Resources Department upon completion and receipt of the qualifying certifications.
