Campus Police OfficerAs a Campus Police Officer, you will perform general-duty police work to protect life and property, enforce laws and ordinances, maintain order, and prevent and investigate crime in support of Washington State University.We're currently accepting applications to build a candidate pool for potential future opportunities. Monthly Salary: $6,615 to $8,898 | Range 61PG Steps A - M | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.Must obtain and maintain certification or complete a basic law enforcement course as approved by the Washington Law Enforcement Officer's Training Commission.Preferred Qualifications:Commissioned law officer under the regulations of the State of Washington.Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with the public, other agencies, and co-workers in a positive manner.Location: Pullman WA 99163Application Instructions: Applicants must upload the following required documents to their online application.
