Looking for a meaningful way to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and support local students without committing to a full-time schedule? The School District of Onalaska is seeking caring community members and retirees to serve as substitute crossing guards for morning and afternoon shifts near Onalaska Middle School, Irving Pertzsch, and Northern Hills.

Why You'll Love This Role:

• Ultimate Flexibility: Work on an as-needed basis when regular guards are unavailable. No fixed daily commitment!
• Short Hours: Shifts are just one hour in the morning before school and one hour after school dismissal.
• Help Our Kids: Play a vital role in keeping our students safe as they head to and from school each day.

What You'll Do: Under minimal supervision, you'll assist children in safely crossing streets, direct pedestrian and local traffic, and serve as a friendly, safety-minded presence in the neighborhood.
