Casino Surveillance OfficerCasino Surveillance Officer monitors casino operations using cameras and surveillance systems to ensure a safe, fair, and lawful environment. They identify suspicious activity, preventing fraud or theft, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.How You Will Create the ExtraordinaryOperates a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to monitor casino activities and prepare reports and logs.Operates software to save and preserve video coverage.Presents evaluations of any observed illegal activity to the proper departments and makes necessary recommendations.Make recommendations and enforce state and federal regulations. Will communicate with security and other departments using phones and radios.Will follow policies to ensure safety and asset protection. Has knowledge of all slot/game's procedures and Title 31.Maintains all logs and ensures accuracy of log entries.Maintains confidentiality of all Hotel/Casino information.Reports all incidents observed on shift to the Leadership.Comply with company regulations, policies, and procedures.Act as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.What You Will NeedHigh school diploma, GED, or comparable experience preferred.Prior experience in a security, casino or surveillance-related field is preferred.Must be able to sit or stand for long hours observing numerous CCTV screens.Must be able to work and maneuver in close quarters.Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.Must be able to see and, also, remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
