Summary

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

BYG-1/TCS SECDEVOPS and Test Automation Engineer

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

We are ready to hire a SECDEVOPS/Test Automation Engineer for the Navy's AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat System delivered to the United States Navy (USN) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Submarine fleet. Our close-knit team is passionate about delivering the best product to the Navy to help protect our country. Our team works closely with the Submarine community to develop solutions that allow the Navy to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

What you'll be doing

Supporting BYG-1 SECDEVOPS pipeline implementation and maintenance and merging automated test suites for our Systems Engineering and Test teams. Additional responsibilities include pipeline to test-related hardware troubleshooting, metrics collection, and providing testing reports to the program.

What sets you apart:
  • Must have advanced level bash and Python scripting experience
  • Strong Red Hat Linux or CentOS Administration background with a working knowledge of systems
  • Experience with Ansible, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration/PaaS/Cloud technologies
  • Implementation and troubleshooting experience with various virtualization technologies and tools such as KVM
  • Must have solid technical communication skills and organizational skills

Combined Salary Range

USD $90,833.00 - USD $100,767.00 /Yr.
