Location: Houston, TX AreaEmployment Type: Part‑timeReports to: Regional Building OfficialWe are seeking a Code Enforcement Officer to perform field inspections and enforce municipal ordinances on an as‑needed basis. This is a part‑time position with no guaranteed minimum hours. Work volume may vary based on contract assignments.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in Code EnforcementRegistered Code Enforcement Officer with the State of Texas requiredResponsibilities:Conduct field inspections and investigate complaints to enforce municipal codes related to property maintenance, zoning, signage, environmental concerns, and abandoned/junk vehiclesIssue notices of violation, citations, and stop‑work orders; clearly communicate corrective actions to property owners, contractors, and the publicDocument case evidence with photographs, inspection notes, and reports; maintain accurate case files in VertexPlansPrepare and present cases and providing testimony as requiredPrepare and submit weekly timesheet reports to the supervisor in accordance with company proceduresCompensation & Benefits:$30 - $40 per hour & 401(k) with 100% company match up to 5% , available after 90 daysPart‑time - Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on client needsAbout AokaAoka is a third‑party municipal services provider serving federal, state, and local governments with code compliance, inspections, and consulting.
