Summary
The Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center is seeking a full -time Security Officer AM Shift (7am-3:30pm).
Security Officers are responsible for the security and safety of the hotel, guests, employees, visitors and vendors; and for providing exceptional service for our guests. Officers have the opportunity to interact with our guests and associates by assisting them with questions, directions, incident reports, problems and in emergency situations. Other duties include issuing visitor badges, radios, and keys, maintaining accurate logs, reporting and completing incident reports, completing building patrols, lock interrogations, safe assists and handling any security related situations that arise.
- Must be merchant guard licensed, or within 90 days of hire.
- Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED trained, or within 90 days of hire.
- Previous interactive customer service experience is required.
- Previous security related experience or hospitality experience preferred.
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates must be comfortable dealing with emergency situations.
- Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, be comfortable using stairs and walk moderate distances.
- Candidate must have afternoon and evening availability, including weekends and holidays.
