Client Details Our client is one of the top contractors in the country doing $400M+/yr, headquartered in Raleigh, NC! This client primarily builds in the education, healthcare, multifamily and educational housing sectors of the market, but they are also active in corporate interiors and other general commercial building. With a large amount of growth over the past 5 years, this exciting team is currently looking for a Superintendent with commercial construction experience to help with projects in the Raleigh market. Description The Superintendent - Commercial Ground Up & Interior Projects - Raleigh will be responsible for: Meeting weekly and communicating daily with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries. Managing the site through completion. Proactively identifying design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues. Attaining a thorough and complete understanding of the Prime Contract, all subcontracts, the drawings, and specifications. Enforcing safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards. Maintaining appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots. Communicating daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, superintendents and project coordinators to ensure progress toward the common goal is achieved. Profile The Superintendent - Commercial Ground Up & Interior Projects - Raleigh will have: 5+ years of construction Superintendent experience with a general contractor is required Experience on ground-up education, healthcare, and/or commercial construction projects is required Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level Local to Raleigh preferred, though relocators will be considered Job Offer The Superintendent - Commercial Ground Up & Interior Projects - Raleigh will receive: Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $100,000-$150,000 Annual Bonuses Company Vehicle with gas card Per diem allowance when traveling plus lodging near project site Excellent benefits, 401K, etc. MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
