Description

Under direct or general supervision, performs a variety of skilled duties involved in the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of control instrumentation, electrical, electronic, radio, and telemetry equipment and systems of the City’s wastewater treatment facilities.

Representative Duties

The following typical tasks and responsibilities are representative of the position's essential duties. They are descriptive, not limiting. Essential Duties: Installs, repairs, maintains, troubleshoots, and operates electrical, electronic, control instrumentation systems and devices including VFDs, electrical motors, power circuits, control circuits, computer systems including PLC, SCADA, radio, and communication equipment, co-generation facilities, systems, and equipment.

An appraisal will be made of the applicant's experience, education, training, certification, knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal qualifications for the position. A minimum passing score of 70% is required.
