$21.87 - $26.57 / Hour

THE POSITION:

Under direct supervision, orders, receives, stores, and issues a variety of parts, equipment, materials, and supplies; and performs other work as required.

Representative Duties

The following typical tasks and responsibilities are representative of this class. They are descriptive, not limiting. Essential Duties: Orders, receives, stores, and issues a variety of parts, equipment, materials, and supplies; Issues substitute parts on the basis of knowledge of interchangeability of parts; Operates a vehicle and forklift to pick-up, deliver, load, and unload parts, equipment, materials, and supplies; Performs inventories to ensure adequate levels of stock are available and advises superiors regarding need for purchases; Checks and prepares reports of materials received; Maintains stock records and prepares inventory reports; Reorders stock as necessary based on acceptable usage levels to ensure reasonable on-hand stock and to avoid over stocking; Properly maintains parts, equipment, materials, and supplies in storage status.

ORAL APPRAISAL INTERVIEW (Weighted 100%): June 16, 2026 (Tentative)

An appraisal will be made of the applicant's experience, education, training, certification, knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal qualifications for the position. A minimum passing score of 70% is required.

NOTE: Admission to the Examination may be limited to those applicants who demonstrate the best combination of qualifications. Applicants possessing the minimum qualifications are not guaranteed admittance to the Examination. $45,489.60 - $55,267.68 Annually
