Description:

The Community Engagement Coordinatoris responsible for facilitating and coordinating a robust community relations strategy, with a particular focus on building relationships with community partners, civic engagement, community outreach, and engaging Jefferson County residents. The Coordinatorwill reach out to community members and create opportunities for them to engage and be a part of our civic fabric. This role will be crucial to increasing community trust and involving Jeffco residents in defining the county’s future. The work will focus on engagement around county elections, as well as several other front-facing county services. The Community Engagement Coordinator will work to develop and implement initiatives that increase accessibility and transparency with a focus on practices that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion. This p osition must protect privacy and confidentiality.

Schedule: This position is largely a 4-day workweek with 10-hr days but requires a flexible schedule with some weekend and evening work as community events require. During some parts of the year, up to one day a week of remote work may be available. This position will require occasional work outside of the standard 4-day, 10-hour schedule to support community events, outreach activities, and other operational needs throughout the year.

Hiring Range: 60,000 - 70,000 USD Annual
