JOB SUMMARYThe Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual
for the position of:
Community Service Officer$49,412.01 - $56,823.81 Retirement Benefits (TMRS), 2-to-1 Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Effective Within the First 35 days of Employment Flex Scheduling Opportunities Tuition Reimbursement Wellness Benefits Training & Continuing Education Opportunities Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED; supplemented by vocational training in traffic enforcement or general law enforcement.

- Must pass a drug screen, driving record check, and background check.
- Must have a valid Texas driver's license.
Under general supervision by the Assistant of Patrol, the CSO investigates incoming calls for police services of a non-emergency nature: responds to calls regarding traffic accidents, traffic complaints, property damage, public service duties, stranded motorists, or other problem situations; provides assistance during major emergencies or natural disasters as needed. Writes reports, assists with Fleet maintenance, orders equipment and schedules patrol vehicles for routine maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.
