Scottsdale’s Management Associate position is designed for future leaders with a strong interest in local government to gain and develop the necessary skills to become an effective local government manager and leader.
Management Associates are a vital position that assist with daily City Manager’s Office roles and responsibilities while working on special projects and strategic initiatives across the community and city. Management Associates have the opportunity to work directly with city leadership to provide collaborative and innovative solutions to improve the city and community as a whole.
In addition to professional experience in project management, strategic planning, budgeting and local government leadership, Management Associates receive professional development and mentoring directly from city leadership.
This position is designed for individuals with a strong interest in local government management with a minimum of 6 months of work experience and a graduate-level degree. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational, communication and research skills and an eagerness and willingness to excel in a fast-paced environment.
In order to be considered for this position, the department requests that you attach a Cover Letter and Resume to your application. Anticipated starting salary may be up to mid-point depending on candidate’s experience and internal equity. The midpoint of the salary range is $81,577.60 annually.
The City of Scottsdale offers: - 12 Paid Holidays, which includes 1 Floating Holiday
