job descriptionJoin the Sourcing & Economic Impact Group’s IMT Warehouse as a Warehouse and Toolroom Worker II. In this role, you will perform order filling and shipping, store and issue materials, assemble requisitioned items, and complete physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy or bulky objects, as well as packaging and loading materials for delivery to outlying locations. You will process inventory-related documents, maintain accurate records within the inventory systems and records retention schedules, and operate City vehicles and warehouse equipment to support deliveries, receiving, and daily warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
One year of full-time paid experience or 2,080 cumulative work hours in a warehouse or stockroom receiving, storing, and accounting for materials or supplies; or Six months of full-time paid experience as a Utility Pre-Craft Trainee with the Department of Water and Power assisting with receiving, storing, and accounting for materials or supplies in a warehouse or stockroom.
