The Role at a Glance

The Student Technician I, under direct supervision, performs basic functional inspection of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus, assists with regular maintenance and inspection of SCBA/SCBA masks and all associated equipment. The Student Technician I will also assist with training classes in the use and refilling of SCBA. Assists with operation and preventative maintenance of breathing air compressors. May be required to assist other programs such as Extinguishers, Mechanics, Maintenance, and Construction with facilities operations.

This position reports to the Training Support Foreman I.
