ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clark County District Attorney is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Electronic Evidence Specialist position. This position will be responsible to produce a variety of materials and formats to support the prosecution of cases and provide various forms of discovery to defense counsel that will include bates stamping. As a member of our team, you will provide technical electronic support to the District Attorney’s Office, generally using multimedia applications to produce a variety of discovery materials and informational materials used in a legal setting.

This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources.

Employment is contingent upon the results of a background investigation, which may include both a pre-and post-offer background check for positions within the District Attorney’s Office.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: Equivalent to graduation from high school AND three (3) years of full-time demonstrated experience in the use of digital media conversion and desktop publishing equipment. Some college level training in graphics is desirable. Professional level experience and/or education that has provided the skills and knowledge necessary to perform all job functions at this level may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Mobility to work in a legal office setting and use standard office equipment, stamina to remain seating and maintain concentration for an extended period, vision and hearing to edit and covert materials.
