Position Description
A job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.

Major/Essential Functions

• Plans, designs and conducts laboratory experiments.
• Maintains appropriate documentation related to all experiments, including animal records (lab notebook), protocols, equipment, safety requirements, inventory, and orders.
• Summarizes data and assist PI in data analysis.
• Ensures overall cleanliness and organization of laboratory and laboratory equipment.
• Verifies the good working order of all essential laboratory equipment on a daily basis and takes immediate measures when malfunctions are noted.

Required Qualifications
PhD or equivalent doctorate (e.g., D.Sc., M.D.) in area of project specialization.
