Position DescriptionThis position is posted for current TTUHSC employees only.This recruitment is intended to fill multiple vacancies across the Lubbock, Amarillo, and Odessa campuses. The Epic Analyst Trainee implements, upgrades, and supports assigned application module(s). Troubleshoots and resolves reported system and application problems in the test and production environment. Documents and describes processes and procedures relating to current and future systems environments. Must be actively working towards an Epic Certification.
Completion of the Epic Sphinx Test is required to be considered. Assessment results, in combination with qualifications, experience, and organizational need, will determine which Epic Analyst role final candidates are considered for. Major/Essential Functions- Well-organized, detail oriented, highly analytical, possess strong problem-solving skills and must have a desire to be accountable for project success.
- Detailed knowledge of general phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methods.
- Participate in special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of a fast-moving team.
- Must be able to work at various locations when necessary along with working various shifts.
Required QualificationsA Bachelor's degree OR a combination of education and experience to equal (4) years of relevant experience. Pass required Epic certification exams, within six (6) months of hire, or as otherwise required by the position and department.
